Recently, Mayor Ali Acar assembled journalists to give a statement and make a presentation for his new project: Marmaris bicycle lanes.

The Mayor stated that the project will relieve the traffic, and bicycle lanes will provide safety for cyclists. The project is scheduled to be completed within 105 days, which means it will be ready for the summer season. The project also includes parking spots and stations for bicycles. The citizens as well as the tourists will be able to rent bicycles at these stations.

The roads will also be reinforced within the scope of the project, and the sidewalks will be worked up to provide ease of use for the visually impaired. The project will cost around 6,300,000 TRY.

What do you think? Will it make going through the traffic easier?
